NEW Auto Exe Creator:
Before an application can be distributed to the clients, it must first be packaged. This auto-build feature creates a compressed copy of the application along with a set of routines for installing it. The EXE creator takes the administrator through an easy, step by step process to quickly package the application into a self-extracting executable file. This utility was created to help administrators put efficient, automated processes in place for software deployment. With the utility, software deployment across the network occurs silently without any interaction needed by end users.

NEW Remote Setup Utility:
This efficient utility allows administrators to remotely install the TCO client to new PCs on their network. It allows users to enter in an IP range and deploy the TCO clients without having to use scripts or visit each machine. The administrator has three alternatives to choose from when using the Remote Setup Utility: Update an existing client, a standard client install or a hidden "Silent" client install.

NEW TCO Query Tool:
TCO 4.5.1 now features a SQL query tool. Query Tool was designed for administrators that need a higher level of flexibility for creating reports and tracking user data. TCO Query allows the capture of specific database information and exports it in a usable structure.

Hardware Inventory:
The hardware information is gathered dynamically at a frequency to suit your environment. In addition to providing a full analysis of all the hardware inventory, NetSupport TCO provides the ability to store data on obsolete or unused equipment as well as providing alerts when PC specifications change, for example the amount of RAM installed reduces.

Software Inventory:
NetSupport TCO features a powerful software inventory suite. The key components are the ability to monitor and report the number of applications installed within the enterprise, where they are located, licence levels and which users currently utilise the application.

Software Metering:
Identifying what applications are deployed throughout your enterprise may service certain reporting requirements, but for a fuller picture and to allow effective license control, the IT manager also needs up to date information on when the applications are being used, by who and how these totals equate to their corporate licence.

In addition to application information, NetSupport TCO allows you to store licence information and also define which users are authorised to use the application. Once enabled, the IT manager can instantly view and review software usage, authorised and unauthorised use and licence infringement as it occurs.

Internet Metering / Monitoring:
NetSupport TCO delivers powerful yet simple to implement internet monitoring. The key functionality of this tool allows a manager to monitor which sites are visited, by which user and for how long. Once identified, the IT manager can create lists of unauthorised sites that can then be restricted from general user access, this can be as a blanket policy, or for certain user groups or for selected hours of the day.

Software Distribution:
NetSupport TCO has a powerful intuitive deployment suite. In a matter of minutes a user can create application packs ready for deployment to any number of systems. These can be "pushed" onto users systems, "pulled" by the users or scheduled for delivery at a pre-defined time.

As well as the deployment module, TCO also includes "File Transfer" when dealing on a one to one basis. A useful utility for moving and editing data between the console operator and a selected system. Lastly the "File Collect" feature simplifies the procedure of collecting data from multiple systems in a single action.

Reporting:
A powerful Query based reporting suite is also included as standard, with a wealth of graphical charting options in addition to the standard tabular reports. Accessibility is key within the reporting module and as such, enterprise wide reports can be produced in a matter of minutes.
